Designer Prabal Gurung collaborated with Sally Hansen to create three nail polish colors this spring, and Purple Posy was one of them. This color is a violet creme color, and it is unlike anything I have seen around. I had to have it!

I must admit that I was skeptical, because Sally Hansen products don’t always have the best staying power. I took a risk because it is a fresh color, and I adore Prabal Gurung’s designs – he can do no wrong!

This is part of the complete salon manicure collection, and it has serious staying power. I painted my nails on Tuesday, and didn’t notice any chipping until Sunday – 5 days is impressive by my standards, as I am particularly tough on my nails. If you’re looking for a clear magenta polish, I highly suggest picking up a bottle of Purple Posy by Sally Hansen. Now that I know what great quality the complete salon manicure collection offers, I think I am going to have to pick up a few more shades!
