A few weeks ago, I received a massive package from the kind folks at L’Oreal Paris. Inside was mountain of makeup, skincare and hair products. There’s entirely too many products to get through in this one little post, so this will be the first in a series of L’Oreal Paris product reviews.
First up is my favorite: L’Oreal Paris Infallible Never Fail Lacquer Liner. The first time I used it, the pot went straight from my review pile right into my makeup bag – and it’s been there ever since. Whether you’re in the market for a new liner or you have a million (like me) and don’t think you need any more, L’Oreal Paris Infallible Never Fail Lacquer Liner is a must-have. It’s the bidness, y’all. And here’s why:
It’s richly pigmented (it comes on 5 colors) and extremely versatile. Paint it on thin to subtly define your lash line and visually thicken your lash line. Or lay it on thick to kick it up a notch, and wing it out on the edges for a graphic, professional looking cat eye. L’Oreal Paris Infallible Never Fail Lacquer Liner does it all. It applies like a dream, gliding on smoothly – thanks to the gel consistency. The best part, though, is that it looks glossy and wet – even after it’s dry. And once it sets, it’s there to stay – all day and night. The liner comes with a brush, which I almost dismissed because, typically, the brushes that come with drugstore products are lacking in quality and the bristles scratch the skin. Not so with this brush. It’s soft, applies the liner perfectly and is comparable to many high-quality liner brushes that I’ve paid big money for.
At $9.50, L’Oreal Paris Infallible Never Fail Lacquer Liner is an absolute steal. I’d pay twice that for this liner and not bat an eye.
Another amazeballs product from L’Oreal Paris is their Colour Caresse by Colour Riche Luminous Lipcolor. It’s a fantabulous lipstick/gloss/balm/stain hybrid that delivers high impact color and high watt shine (without stickiness) in a cushy, deeply hydrating formula. Plus, the color lasts all day. And by “all day,” I don’t mean until you eat something. I mean, you put it on in the morning before work – and when you check your reflect in the rear view mirror on the commute home, the color is still kickin’. Available in 16 shades, Colour Caresse by Colour Riche Luminous Lipcolor is $9.99.
As I said, L’Oreal Paris just keeps churning out beauty champs – and the products I described above are just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. So stay tuned for more reviews.
