In the winter of 2011, I was introduced to Kiehl’s Rosa Arctica Youth Regenerating Cream – and whatever moisturizer I was using at the time went by the wayside. I honestly don’t remember which moisturizer came before (and who cares, really) but I do remember that it couldn’t compete with the Rosa Arctica results. After using it for not that long, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin. During the colder months, my skin is Sahara dry and there are only a few moisturizers on the market hydrating enough to quench its thirst; Rosa Arctic is one of them. But it gets better; the thick cream also smoothes, reduces lines and wrinkles, improves firmness and gives it a youthful glow.

Rosa Arctica Youth Regenerating Cream is so fabulous that it pains me when I retire it for the spring and summer months, when my face turns into an oil slick of BP proportions. As it turns out, I wasn’t the only one wishing for a lighter version of this must-have moisturizer. In response to customer demand for a lightweight texture, Kiehl’s just launched Rosa Arctica Lightweight Cream.

Kiehl’s, knowing how much I adore the original, sent me a sneak peek of the new formulation and I have been using it faithfully for a few weeks. I love it as much as the original and I’m so thrilled that I can now use Rosa Arctica year-round.

Along with the Rosa Arctica Lightweight Cream, Kiehl’s also just debuted Rosa Arctica Eye; it’s like an early birthday present (holla at my Libras). In addition to blogging, I have a full-time job and I am the mom of a very active 2 year old, so I am seriously sleep-deprived with the dark circles to prove it. But just because I feel like a zombie doesn’t mean that I want to look like one too. Using similar ingredients and chemistry as the moisturizer, this new eye balm hydrates, brightens, smoothes crow’s feet and lifts the eye contour area. It’s on the rich side, so I apply at night and use my beloved Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado in the morning.

I could go on and on about these amazing products – but really, you just need to experience them for yourself. Rosa Arctica Youth Regenerating Cream, Rosa Arctica Lightweight Cream and Rosa Arctica Eye are available now at Kiehl’s stores, counters an
