Did Michelle Obama Wear OPI Nail Polish at the 2012 DNC?

Last night, Michelle Obama nailed her Democratic National Convention speech, but it was her manicure that stole the show. Her nails – painted in a smoky blue (that just so happened to match the hem of her Tracy Reese dress) – nearly broke Twitter.

Okay, I exaggerate…but people were going cray cray trying to guess what brand and shade the F.L.O.T.U.S. was sporting.

Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, Executive VP & Artistic Director for OPI, thinks she might know the answer.

“I can’t say for certain, but it sure looks like I Don’t Give a Rotterdam to me.” I Don’t Give a Rotterdam is one of the best sellers of OPI’s spring/summer Holland Collection. “I had the privilege of meeting Michelle Obama about a year and a half ago. She told me how she was a big fan of OPI. Politics aside,” says Weiss-Fischmann, “you’ve got to love a woman who loves her nails.”

Update: MSNBC reports that the First Lady wore Artistic Colour Gloss Soak Off Color Gel in “Vogue.”

I love it that she did that, matched her nails with her dress like that. Looks cute too!
