L’Oreal Paris New York Nudes Collection

LOreal Paris New York Nudes Colour Riche Nail and Le Gloss 1024x761 LOreal Paris New York Nudes Collection

Colour Riche Nail shades (l to r): park ave luncheon, broadway boogie, till the sun comes up, hudson sunset, downtown chic, brownie points. For Colour Riche Le Gloss shades, see below.

As a beauty blogger, sometimes I contact brands to request products I would like to try or products readers have requested that I review. But sometimes, products that I never knew existed – and are a million times better than anything I could’ve asked for – just show up on my doorstep. Today was that kind of day.

I returned from a long day at work to be greeted by a goody box from L’Oreal Paris. Inside was their brand new New York Nudes Collection, a sophisticated limited-edition range that includes six flesh-toned shades of Colour Riche Nail and coordinating Colour Riche Le Gloss. These modern shades – from soft ivory to rich ebony – beautifully complement the unique tonalities of women of all skin tones – creating a flawless nude look.

Colour Riche Le Gloss shades (l to r): Chic-ly Pale, Midtown Hustle, Girl’s Night Out, Skyline Glow, Cinnamon Spiced, Spiked Coffee

How gorgeous are these colors?!? With every new product debut, I fall deeper and deeper in love with L’Oreal Paris – and this particular collection is no exception. In fact, when I opened up the package, I was positively giddy. As a brown beauty blogger who has seen/tried hundreds of “nude” cosmetics that look nothing like my complexion, these lippies and lacquers were a welcome gift.

I haven’t tried the polishes yet (check back soon), but the glosses look decadent on the lips and taste delish too! It’s very fitting that this collection of vanilla, caramel, praline and chocolate glosses are flavored like a sweet treat.

Colour Riche Nail ($5.99) and Colour Riche Le Gloss ($7.95) are available now at chain drug, food and mass market retailers. I suggest you get to the store and stockpile these babies because I predict they will be flying off shelves faster than a New York minute.

Which shades are your faves? Tell me in the comments.

Ooh, I’m loving the fourth and fifth glosses — Skyline Glow and Cinnamon Spiced — and their corresponding polishes! I am loving shades of caramel this fall!

Girls Night Out is my FAVORITE nude color EVER. Unfortunately all the stores by me that did receive these LTD edition colors have sold out and I cannot find it anywhere to buy more.
