Ever heard the expression 15 minutes of fame? The expression was coined in 1968 by Andy Warhol, who said that “In the future, everyone will be world famous for 15 minutes.”
Well, forget 15 minutes. That’s so 1968 (when Andy Warhol coined the expression). Paul Mitchell is seriously upping the ante by offering the curly girls of the world 1,440 minutes (24 hours) of mane fame!
Upload a picture of your Curl Confession on the Truth About Curls Facebook app, using the hashtag #curlconfession (and after you submit, enter your information for a chance to win the entire full-sized Curls product line, which will be awarded weekly). You can also submit your confession by posting your #curlconfession on Twitter or Instagram anytime before 11:59 EST on 11/14.
These Curl Confession photos will be projected on the hippest locales in New York and Los Angeles on November 15. People who see the projections in-person (locations will be posted on the Paul Mitchell Facebook page) will be able to scan a QR code to enter for a chance to win fabulous prizes. If you can’t see it in person, projections will be streamed live, starting at 6pm EST on 11/15 for the NYC spectacle, and 6pm PST for the sister event in LA.
