One of my all-time favorite products is Dermadoctor KP Duty, a dual action body exfoliator that combines the benefits of a chemical peel and microdermabrasion. It was developed to treat chicken skin – those little red bumps that many people get on their upper arms. But, for years, I’ve been using it to exfoliate my legs pre-shave. There’s really no body exfoliator that comes close to KP Duty.
Anyway, KP Duty’s skincare counterpart is Physical Chemistry – Dermadoctor’s exfoliating facial. Again, it combines the benefits of a chemical peel and microdermabrasion into a simple-to-use, powerfully effective yet gentle scrub. You simply apply it to dry skin, rub it in with your fingertips, rinse and pat dry. That’s it.
I tried it for the first time this week and I literally asked myself why it’s taken me so long to get acquainted with this product. I love Physical Chemistry. It does exactly for the face what KP Duty does for my legs – and I am marveling at the softness of my skin. If you’ve got fine lines, flaky skin, a dull complexion, large pores, or hyperpigmentation, you NEED this product. In just a few minutes, it’ll get rid of dry, old top layer of skin and reveal soft, smooth skin that you never imagined was underneath. Getting rid of that top layer also enables your other skin care products to be most effective – because now they’ll actually be able to penetrate into the skin.
DermaDoctor Physical Chemistry is $75 for a 1.7 oz jar. Sounds pricey but – trust me – it’s worth every penny. I’m adding this scrub to my Holy Grail product list.
