When it comes to cosmetics and toiletries, I am difficult to please. I’m even more discriminating with products I use on my kids, 4-year-old Westley and 3-month-old Arwen. So when I rave about children’s products on this blog, there’s no doubt that they are the crème de la crème.
Last month, Noodle & Boo sent me their Newborn 2-in-1 Hair & Body Wash and Baby Balm to review.
From Arwen’s first bath with these products, I’ve been hooked. Addicted!
The Newborn 2-in-1 Hair & Body Wash gently cleanses Arwen’s hair and skin without stripping its natural moisture. It’s tear-free, clinically-tested for sensitive/newborn skin, mild enough for daily use and suds up well despite being sulfate-free.
The Baby Balm is a nourishing cream for face and body that soothes, pampers and provides long-lasting moisture for dry, irritated skin. I love the way Arwen’s skin looks and feels after using these products in tandem.
But what seals the deal and makes me want to use Noodle & Boo products on her exclusively is the fragrance. If heaven has a scent, it’s this. It’s clean, soft, warm, sweet and powdery – all at the same time. Basically, it is exactly what a baby should smell like.
A few weeks ago, I visited my parents and accidentally left one of Arwen’s burb cloths behind. My mom later admitted to repeatedly sniffing it because it smelled just like Arwen (aka Noodle & Boo). The fragrance is actually so amazing that I’ve used the products, on myself, a few times. I wish they made a women’s perfume in this scent, because I’d buy/hoard several bottles. That’s how wonderful it smells!
Though I’m excited to have discovered Noodle & Boo, I’m kicking myself for being so late to the proverbial party – because Westley never had a chance to smell this good as an infant. In addition to products for baby, Noodle & Boo has a collection for moms and a few home items. I’m so excited to get better acquainted with this brand, I don’t know where to start!
