Daneen – I know that you like your razor*, but wow, this stuff is awesome!
Do you remember where you were when you learned how to shave? Believe it or not, I was in Tennessee! My Dad was driving our family to Orlando, from New Jersey, for a trip to Disney world. He had the tendency to take the long way to stop at obscure places for sight seeing. I was 10 or 12 years old, and I recall my mom saying that it was time to learn. She took a disposable razor and his Barbasol shave cream and showed me what to do.
Since then, I always got the $1.00 Barbasol shave cream to use. But since it always left me feeling dry (and smelling like a man, ha!), I decided to splurge and get Skintimate – which was definitely better. I never thought I would use anything more “luxurious” than that until Whish Shave Crave found its way to my shower.
“What are you using in there that smells so good?,” asked my husband as he came into the bathroom while I was shaving. I have the almond scent and he was right. The scent is so decadent! The cream doesn’t foam like most shave creams, so keep that in mind as you apply it to your legs. I used a few pumps for each leg, which resulted in a super close and ultra smooth shave. I’m not a hairy person, so I can usually go a few days before shaving again, but this time I was able to wait a day longer! I also usually apply lotion immediately after, but I decided to wait a little while to see if I felt dry – and I didn’t! I still applied lotion out of habit, but if I had forgotten, I probably wouldn’t have noticed.
Another great feature of Whish Shave Crave is the packaging. The container is clear so you can see how much is left. I love this because I can’t tell you how many times I only had enough cream to do one leg! Now I can spare my floor from getting soaked when I run out of shaving cream mid-way through the shower!
*Daneen uses the Schick Intuition razor, so she re-gifted me the Whish Shave Cream that they sent her.
