Brides: Take The Clinique Lash Power Challenge

Bridal Beauty Week ended last week, but that doesn’t mean Spoiled Pretty has forgotten about you brides-to-be.

Between now and June 30, future brides can visit to download the Clinique Bridal Beauty Countdown Widget to help plan your day of bliss – including weekly wedding-prep tips for glowing skin and flawless makeup – right on their desktop. Once downloaded, Clinique will deliver a FREE SAMPLE of Lash Power Mascara. This mascara vows to stay put through rain, sweat, humidity and tears.

And for the chance to win every bride’s dream wedding day accessory (beautiful diamond jewelry valued at $5,000), Clinique invites women to submit a video of their best teary-eyed moment – weather watching a tear-jerking movie, jumping in a pool, or peeling an onion – showing Clinique Power Mascara standing up to the test. The winning submission will receive the diamond jewelry collection and three runners-up will receive a Clinique Makeup Artists on their wedding day for themselves and two friends.

Bewildered About Bridal Beauty? Three Custom Color Specialists to the Rescue!

Last month, Trae Bodge and Chad Hayduk, Co-Founders of Three Custom Color Specialists, were the makeup maestros for the JLM Couture Spring 2009 Bridal Show (during New York Bridal Fashion Week).

They created a special new lipgloss just for the showcase called, Just Love Me. It’s not yet available on the website, but Three Custom Color Specialists can take phone orders for it. It’s a gorgeous soft fleshy pink with opal and champagne shimmer (see the photo, left).

The bridal pages on their website are a great resource for brides-to-be. They include color charts and step-by-step bridal makeup application techniques. One piece of advice that you won’t find on the website, but Trae wanted to share with Spoiled Pretty readers is this:

“Brides can tend to over do it or under do it. I recommend seeking an expert to collaborate to achieve the best look for your special day.”
