In the past week, Rihanna has been taking her hair to new heights. How do we feel about her sky-high hairdos?
Halle Berry looks amazing no matter what she’s got going on with her hair, save for her recent Harper’s Bazaar cover. (Whose harebrained idea was it to put a Raquel Welch-esque wig on Halle Berry?)
But I’m absolutely loving the new short do she debuted yesterday. When you’ve got a face like Halle’s, a cropped coif that frames her delicate features seems like a no-brainer.
What do you think of Halle’s return to short hair?
I envy the way Alexis Bledel pulls off a bold lip. So using some of my new favorite products from mark, I set out to replicate the look.
The video is a little on the long side (did you know that long-winded is my middle name?) but there’s a surprise at the end.
Hang in there for a sneak peek at an amazing 3-in-1 lip product from Avon (to be released later this summer.
Products featured in video:
* mark Get In Line Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Hook Up (available June 2009)
* mark Lip Exotics Lip Lacquer Hook Up ( in Fever)
* Kaia 3-In-1 Sustainable Bamboo Cleansing Cloths (I remove the lipgloss with one)
* Avon Pro 3-in-1 Lip Wand (available July 2009)

To prepare for the role of social worker, Mrs. Weiss, the chanteuse packed on the pounds; she appears on screen sans makeup and sporting a dark brown do, which only serves to make her pallor look more pronounced.
The part is a far cry from her Razzie Award winning portrayal of Billie Frank in 2001′s Glitter.
The movie, adapted from “Push: A Novel,” premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January where it won the Audience Award and Grand Jury prize for best drama.
It’s no secret that I hold a torch for Kim Kardashian’s makeup. So it was a total treat to learn that Mario Dedivanovic, Kim’s talented MUA, just started a blog today. That’s right…today. I’m quick. When it comes to Kim-related news, I don’t mess around.
For his first post, Mario shared the recipe for one of his favorite looks he ever created for Kim. To cop Kim’s look…
Eyes: DuWop Duet Eye Shadow in Chai (the lighter shade) all over the lid and on the brow bone. MAC Eyeshadow in Brun in the crease. MAC Eyeliner in Feline on top lid. GIELLA b-dazzle Shadow on inner corners of eyes. MAC Eye Kohl in Fascinating on the inner rim of the eye. MAC Brun Eye Shadow swept softly under the eye. TONS of mascara on top and bottom lashes. I filled in the brows with MAC Eye Brows in Lingering.
Cheeks: NARS Blush in Desire on the apples of cheeks. Smashbox Bronze Lights Bronzer in Suntan Matte on the hollow’s of the cheeks and framing the face, softly. For the glow on the cheekbones, Stila Illuminating Finishing Powder in Gold.
Lips: MAC creme D’nude Lipstick. Make Up For Ever Lip Liner Pencil in #50 (Warm Nude). You can use a gloss for this look, but I didn’t because the lipstick is very creamy.

All I have to say is, “Watch your glutes, Kim.”
Using products and palettes from Dior, makeup prodigy Troy Jensen glammed up Khloe Kardashian for Maxim Magazine’s Hot 100 party.
I visit Troy’s blog, daily (for beauty junkies, it’s required reading); and when I saw this photo, I literally gasped.
How do you like the glossy, naughty nudeness of Khloe’s lips? If I had to wear one lip look for the rest of my natural life, I’d pick those…without hesitation. I want those lips. I need those lips. Gimme those lips, Khloe!
