Okay…so I realize that yesterday’s eppy of Oprah was of a serious nature, but the main thing that stuck with me was O’s new do. The daytime queen traded in her signature curly q’s for long, loose waves. I’m loving it. I’m so wild about it, I just want to throw up my hands and jump on a couch.
It was time for a change and I think this new style suits her perfectly. What do you think?
Apparently, I wasn’t the only beauty blogger enchanted by Kim Kardashian’s ferosh Fashion Week cat eye. My blogging buddy Indian Girl just sent me an email, thanking me for posting makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic’s step-by-step application tips.
Using my post as a guide, Indian Girl replicated Kim’s liner and eye shadow situation – and I have to say, she did an amazing job!
Watch your butt, Kim…Indian Girl is hot on your tail!

I am loving Taraji P. Henson’s bob right now. And she obviously loves it too. Can’t you tell?
The face-framing cut and sideswept bang are so flattering. I appreciate that Taraji isn’t trying to go all Rihanna and experiment with a whole lotta looks. She’s just letting her do do it’s thang. If I had the chutzpah to chop my locks, I would take Taraji’s photo to my mane man, Erik.
In part 3 of the video, Mario uses the following products:
MAC Eye Kohl in Smolder
Giella Custom Blend Eye Shadow in Bedazzle
Smashbox Bronze Lights Bronzer
Kevyn Aucoin The Pure Powder Glow Blush in Shadore
MAC Cremestick Liner in Gingerroot
MAC Lipstick in Fresh Brew
MAC Lipstick in Hug Me
MAC Dazzleglass in Glamour OD (limited-edition)
MAC Dazzleglass in Sugarrimmed (limited-edition)
Estee Lauder Pure Color Gloss in Clear
