“This scent is feminine, flirtatious and fun, and truly reflects where I am in my life now, after an incredible year,” Mariah says. “The response from my fans with my debut scent was overwhelming, and I can’t wait to see what happens with my second Luscious fragrance.”
Luscious Pink, a sparkling floral, has top notes of Sicilian bergamot, Ocean Breeze accord and sparkling Bellini accord; a heart of Tahitian Tiare petals, lily of the valley and pink peony, and a drydown of bright blond woods, creamy sandalwood and white musk, which has been described as “a floral melody that is as enveloping as Mariah’s voice.”
The collection includes eau de parfum sprays in three sizes: 1 oz. ($39.50), 1.7 oz. ($55) and 3.3 oz. ($65) — as well as a 6.8-oz. body lotion ($28). Luscious Pink will be sold in 2,000 U.S, department stores, and will also be available in Japan.
I’m a big fan of M, Mariah’s first fragrance – so I’m anxious to get a whiff of her sophmore scent.
Last night, at the Grand Palais in Paris, Lancôme welcomed Anne Hathaway as its newest ambassador and introduced Magnifique, its newest fragrance.
The fragrance collection and the advertising campaign will launch in August 2008.
This afternoon, I received an email from my girl Tess, over at Three Custom Color Specialists. Tess told me that Troy Jensen, makeup artist to the Pussycat Dolls, had just called from the set of the music video shoot for their new single, “When I Grow Up.”
In the video, Nicole Scherzinger will be wearing Three Custom Color’s Light Brights Lipstick in Palladium. The dolls loved the shades so much that Troy requested a set of all four shades for each of them!
Lil Kim walked the pink carpet at the NYC premiere of Sex And The City: The Movie.
More shocking than the fact that she was fully clothed was the condition of her face. Look at Lil Kim’s face, people! She looks like the lost member of The Chipettes.
Let this be a lesson to us all. Makeup is for a moment. This hot mess is forever.
“I tried to keep her eyes the focus by creating a strong yet natural lash line and I always framed her eyes with beautiful lashes. Also important: a healthy rosy flush to her cheeks, a soft mouth, and clean, healthy skin that had a natural glow and shine to it. I used blot film to remove excess shine and powdered only if I needed to.”
To give SJP’s skin a light, dewy finish, Judy applied tinted moisturizer with a brush, which gives a more even blend than fingers. Then she smoothed it out with a cosmetic sponge to work the color into the skin, making it more natural. She used concealer only where necessary, and gave SJP a slight rosy cheek using cream blush. By layering and blending it into the skin, it more closely mimics a natural flush.
“I worked the eye pencil into her lashline by applying it in between her lashes and smudged it very softly to blend it,” Judy says. “I was careful to coat her lashes from the root and brushed them out – and we always curled them.”
