Shopbop.com is one of my favorite online destinations for retail therapy. They have the best selection of apparel, shoes, handbags, jewelry and other accessories. Just about any time I wear something I bought at Shopbop, people stop and ask where I got it.
What’s even better than shopping Shopbop is shopping Shopbop when there’s a big sale…and there’s one happening right now. Now’s the time to stock up on your favorites and/or finally buy that splurge item you’ve been eyeing for forever.
Today through Thursday, October 16 (at 11:59pm PT), take 25% off your entire purchase. Use coupon code FAMILY25 at checkout.
If you score something cute, come back here and brag about your bargains in the comments section. I’m dying to hear what everyone picks up!
Sorry I’m so late spreading this good news. Late last week, Land’s End announced their Friends & Family sale – with a coupon for 30% off (enter promo code FAMILYFIRST at checkout). I took that as a sign from the heavens that I should invest in a new winter coat…and scarf…and gloves. Oh hell, I bought a skirt too. All in all, I ended up saving $93!
What I love about Land’s End is that their women’s clothes come in regular, petite, tall and plus sizes. I’m barely 5’2″, so I really appreciate the wide range of sizes.
The sale originally ended yesterday, but today they announced the savings were being extended until midnight tonight.
Here are the goodies that UPS is scheduled to deliver to my door by week’s end:

Remember the POPSUGAR Must Have Box that I wrote about a few weeks ago? Well, if you’ve been hemming and hawing over whether to sign up – your indecisiveness just paid off!
RueLaLa has a POPSUGAR Must Have Box Sale happening right now. For $24.95, you’ll get one introductory Must Have Box from POPSUGAR (a box will usually run you $39.95). The surprised-filled shipment will arrive at your door in less than 2 weeks. (more…)
The shower and my chemically-straightened hair are frenemies. Every seventh day when I wash my hair, they get along great in a shampoo Shangri-la. But the rest of the week, I employ a shower cap to keep the steam from undoing the silky straightness. I have been wearing shower caps since I was a child, and I’ve tried them all. And no matter how much they cost – from the flimsy free ones you swipe from a hotel to the more expensive caps – they’ve always let me down. They inadvertently allow moisture in. Or the elastic band loosens, allowing strands of hair to escape the shower cap and get all soaked up. Don’t you just HATE that?
After decades of the shower (and sub par shower caps) putting a damper on my do, I didn’t think it was possible to make it an entire week without steam wrecking my blow dry/flat iron handiwork. That is, until I discovered The Perfect Shower Cap from BlowPro four years ago. Seriously, the name does not exaggerate. (more…)
