The brightly colored eyes that are on-trend right now are so hot! But it seems like such a daunting task to replicate the look for real life, right? Not so, say the experts at Shu Uemura.
The Rebirth Collection Tri-Color Eye Pencil is a stacked eye crayon, made up of three coordinating shades. It has a soft, creamy texture that glides across skin, without tugging. Use as a liner, or blend on the entire eyelid as an eyeshadow.
The limited-edition pencils come in shades Aqua Flow (cool tones of green and blue) and Energy Flow (warm tones of yellow and peach).

Stila has come up with two new ways to wear their cult fave shadow, Kitten.
Silk Eye Shadow Wash is a portable water-based, liquid-to-powder shadow. The universally flattering pink champagne shade is pretty on the lid, and on the brow bone or inside corners of the eyes as a highlighter.
Stila’s new Silk Shimmer Gloss delivers the award-winning golden pink shine to the lips. Enriched with silk proteins and vitamins, this gloss is destined to become a classic in its own right.

I love me a makeup palette. I’m constantly on the go, and chaos has always been one of my strong suits. I could spend five minutes digging in my cavernous purse for a lipgloss that I know is in there somewhere, but I still can’t manage to find. So finding a sleek palette that contains high quality, versatile colors is a godsend. One that I’m just wild about is Bobbi Brown’s Nude Lip & Eye Palette.
This two-tiered, mirrored kit features all-new shimmer and matte shadows, four nude Lip Colors, and two mini brushes: a mini dual-ended Eye Shadow/Eyeliner Brush and Lip Brush with a protective cap. As you can see on Bobbi’s models (above), the palette contains universally flattering hues. The shadows are beautiful on their own, but even more fabulous when blended together.
This photo of my haphazard handiwork proves that the shades are equally gorgeous on a non-model like me. All I did was mix them together and swipe over my entire lid. So easy, a cavewoman can do it!
“The Nude Collection was inspired by color I see naturally in women’s faces,” says Bobbi. “Nude makeup is pure genius because it’s easy to apply and it enhances the natural tones of your skin. It’s the perfect choice for anyone who loves a naturally sexy look.”

The Nude Lip & Eye Palette is already sold out online – yeah, that’s how genius it is. So visit your nearest Bobbi Brown counter to see if it’s in stock.
Professional eyelining and defining come together in an innovative palette of ultra-fine powders. Chanel’s Limited Edition Eyeliner Palette contains three eminently wearable shades – black, iridescent dark grey and deep brown – to create a multitude of looks, from subtle highlighting to dramatic shadowing, when applied wet or dry.

I am an Urban Decay groupie. So I really wanted to love their new . I expected to fall head over heels for these intense, silky soft shadows. But while I am fond of the Urban Decay’s newest offering, I can’t say I’m in love.
I give these pigments major props because the hues are incredibly beautiful. Every shade is a superstar. Believe it or not, the formula is actually mineral makeup, made from pearlized powders – and no dyes or synthetic pigments are used.
But the problem with the product lies in the packaging. Urban Decay created a spill-proof tube, cap with an ergonomic flared handle, and built-in brush to minimize mess…except it’s still kinda cumbersome. The brush picks up a wee too much product, and spills excess pigment when you remove it from the tube. So you end up with hands and fingers sprinkled with shadow before you’ve even lifted the brush to you eyelid.
If you’re thinking about purchasing the Loose Pigments, I would recommend visiting Sephora and playing around with testers. Try before you buy, so to speak.
Bottom line, if these were Pressed Pigments instead of Loose, I’d own one in every color.
Left to right: Smog (medium brown ), Asphyxia (bright pink w/ purple shift), Goddess (midnight blue w/ electric blue microglitter), and Goddess (midnight blue w/ electric blue microglitter).
Every year an average of 2.4 million weddings are performed in the United States. And June is the most popular month for marriages – accounting for 10.8% of weddings.
March may seem somewhat early to start thinking about wedding season. But, trust me – many June brides are already at their wits’ end, trying to decide on a makeup look that will be immortalized in their wedding photos and videos.
Last year at this time, I was preparing for my own nuptials – so I remember what an exciting, yet physically/mentally/emotionally taxing time it can be; I clearly recall agonizing over the makeup I would wear on my wedding day.
This Spring, Bobbi Brown, the bridal beauty authority, has done the hard work and assembled her wedding day must-haves in a new Bridal Kit. Exclusively designed with brides and their bridal parties in mind, the Bridal Kit contains special occasion essentials that flatter all complexions. The sleek white case includes: Ivory Eye Shadow, Black Ink Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner, Black No Smudge Mascara, Pink Sugar Shimmer Lip Gloss and a Short Handle Ultra Fine Eye Liner Brush.
With the exception of the eye shadow, I own all of these products – and would highly recommend them to future brides. I’m speaking from experience, as I used a few Bobbi Brown products on my wedding day. Plus, if you were to purchase these products separately, it would cost you more than $100 (not including the cosmetic case) – but the Bridal Kit only costs $75.
