max and cleo pleated dress Cute and Comfy: Sofft Ramona II PumpsA few weeks ago, I posted a pic of this Max & Cleo dress I was planning to wear to a wedding and solicited your advice for complementary shoes. The resounding consensus was that I should jazz it up with a pair of colorful kicks. But while I loved many of your shoe recommendations, my wide, flat feet started to hurt just looking at those stilettos. So I decided to use your suggestions as style inspiration and search for similar heels in a less intimidating height. Unfortunately, 99.9% of the cute heels out there are too narrow for my Flintstone feet, not to mention ridiculously sky high. Seriously, how women can stand in these things, let alone stroll? Inquiring minds want to know.

Many of you visit Spoiled Pretty for my beauty and fashion advice. But now it’s my turn to solicit style suggestions from you.

In a few weeks, I’m attending a friend’s wedding and this is the dress I’m wearing. It’s by Max & Cleo and I snatched it up for just $25 at Bloomingdale’s this past weekend (it’s originally $143). I concede that the dress doesn’t look like much on the model, but it looks great on me (and hides a multitude of sins) – hurrah! Anyways, I need shoes to complete the ensemble and I’m absolutely perplexed. Should I rock a pair of nude pumps? Or maybe inject a pop of color? I need your help!

Yesterday, I paid my a visit to my local LOFT, looking for a must-have pink blazer I spotted in the current issue of People StyleWatch (my style bible/guilty pleasure). But when I started searching the store, the jacket eluded me – even after I combed the racks several times over. I did spot two, however – only they weren’t for sale. Two of the saleswomen were rocking the blazer and it was like the fashion gods were taunting me.
