Because my hair is overprocessed, dry and damaged, I only wash it about once a week. Which means that when I “do” it, I better do it right – or else my hair will look jacked for the next seven days. Forget a bad hair day; it’s more like a bad hair week for me.
So when I receive hair product samples to review, I’m usually nervous – especially if they’re not from a brand I normally use (e.g., Moroccanoil, Ojon, Phyto, Fekkai, Leonor Greyl). I’m also a hair product snob and I don’t typically shop at mass market retailers for those items. I have a confession to make. I have been using the same brand of hair products since I was in the 6th grade and (name of then-cute boy redacted) told me that my hair smelled nice. Herbal Essences was always readily available, affordable, good to my hair, and it does smell good!
