For her upcoming role as Joan Jett in The Runaways (yeah…Philly in the house!), Twilight star Kristen Stewart chopped her locks and dyed ‘em black.
Rumor has it that filming for Eclipse, the third installment in the Twilight saga, will begin in August 2009. Kristen’s hair, obviously, won’t be back to its normal length by then – so I’m waiting to see how the hair team plans to remedy this conundrum.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me…you can’t get fooled again.
When Kim Kardashian unveiled the above photo on Twitpic.com, I knew she was just playin’. Remember her ‘blonde’ do back in April?
Turns out celeb hairstylist Ken Paves was behind Kim’s cropped bob. It was all a part of a tress transformation for an upcoming issue of O Magazine.

Halle Berry looks amazing no matter what she’s got going on with her hair, save for her recent Harper’s Bazaar cover. (Whose harebrained idea was it to put a Raquel Welch-esque wig on Halle Berry?)
But I’m absolutely loving the new short do she debuted yesterday. When you’ve got a face like Halle’s, a cropped coif that frames her delicate features seems like a no-brainer.
What do you think of Halle’s return to short hair?
R&B singer Cassie has hair that some girls (me) would kill for. So I’m absolutely shocked that homegirl just up and decided to shave half of her head. What would possess her to do such a thing? A lot tof people have been asking that question, to which Cassie responded on Twitter:
“B/C I WOKE UP AND FELT LIKE IT!!! YEEEAHHH!!!”
Let’s hope this strange behavior isn’t followed by outright cries for help…like attacking cars with an umbrella or palling around with Adnan Ghalib.

Brace yourselves, Twilighters. Rob Pattinson just cut his hair.
No statement has been released about the reasons behind the chop. But Spoiled Pretty speculates that the haircut is just the shy star’s attempt at being a little less conspicuous. Or carpal tunnel set in after months of clawing his matted mane out of his face.
Thoughts on Rob’s new do?
Kim Kardashian showed off some forehead fringe last night at the Empowerment for Africa dinner in NYC. Earlier that day, Kim empowered Joaquin Hortal (of Rita Hazan Salon) to transform her characteristic do.
Kim and Joaquin originally planned to chop more than just her bangs…they actually contemplated taking Kim’s hair short. But “opted for sexy, rock star bangs that are perfect for winter — and very New York,” says Hortal.
What do you think? Is Kim’s new do a don’t?
Who’s responsible for Eva Longoria’s short new do? Her husband, Tony Parker!
“Tony cut my hair!” says Longoria. “I had to cut my hair for the show because Gabrielle has short hair,” she says. “I wore a wig in the last episode, but I didn’t want to wear a wig this whole season, so I was like, ‘I’m going to cut it!'”
She says her hairstylist, Ken Paves, forced Parker to make the first move. “He said, ‘Tony, you’re going to do the first cut, so she can’t be mad at me,'” she says. “Tony did the first snip. He did more and then he did more and then Kenny cleaned it up.”
