Do you rememer that 80’s song, Working For The Weekend by the band Loverboy? If you don’t, consider yourself lucky. Anyways…while most of you are quickly winding up the work week so that you can get started on your weekend festivities, I will be working this weekend. At least, some of it.
So before I embark on my business trip, I just wanted to share my new haircut with all of you pretties. What do you think? I think Erik did a fantastic job! I haven’t loved my hair this much since my wedding last summer – and most of that wasn’t even my real hair!
Yesterday, Gwyneth Paltrow showed off a shorter do at the Prince’s Trust Celebrate Success Awards in London. I don’t know about you, but I’m digging Gwynnie’s new look. The R&B princess debuted a new pixie hairstyle at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, France on Saturday.
What inspired her to make the cut? At the October photo shoot for Allure’s January 2008 cover, Allure’s Creative Director, Paul Cavaco, suggested that – for her next look – she channel old-school Linda Evangelista.
Looks like she took his advice.
Speaking of Linda E. – here’s an oldie, but a goodie. Enjoy!
Oprah Winfrey is an Oscar-nominated actress, activist, magazine editor, producer, book club sponsor, radio host…and now, hairdresser?
“It’s taken months to get to this moment,” Winfrey said. “It involves a two-time Academy Award winner, a sharp object, and me.”
The media mogul cut nine inches off Hillary Swank’s hair, as part of a charity effort airing tomorrow on her talk show. Swank’s hair will be donated to Pantene Beautiful Lengths – a campaign that encourages people to grow, cut, and donate their hair to create real-hair wigs for women who’ve lost their hair due to cancer.
“I’ve been growing it for the last six months to donate my hair,” Swank says. “I’ve been taking a lot of vitamins and taking really good care of it, knowing that it would go to a woman in need.”
