Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me…you can’t get fooled again.

When Kim Kardashian unveiled the above photo on Twitpic.com, I knew she was just playin’. Remember her ‘blonde’ do back in April?

Turns out celeb hairstylist Ken Paves was behind Kim’s cropped bob. It was all a part of a tress transformation for an upcoming issue of O Magazine.

Kim Kardashian’s Old Hollywood Makeup Look, Created by Troy Jensen

kim+kardashian+dior+makeup+troy+jensen Kim Kardashians Old Hollywood Makeup Look, Created by Troy Jensen

When Dior Beauty invited Troy Jensen to their first annual Christian Dior Beauty Lunch benefiting Operation Smile, he invited his favorite muse, Kim Kardashian. On his blog, Troy dishes about his inspiration for Kim’s makeup look – and how he pulled it all off.

“I sent Kim a collage of images of Ava Gardner as inspiration for the look i created. I wanted to create a look that was old Hollywood glam with a touch of a modern chic. I first prepped Kim’s skin with an eye cream and moistureizer, then blended a concealer under the eyes, forehead, down the center of the nose and blended well into her skin. I then applied a liquid foundation to give a subtle golden glow. I set with a finishing powder and dusted a Rose Pink powder blush to the apples of her cheeks. I applied a bronzer to the outer perimeter of temples, down her cheek bones, and jaw line. The bronzer was a golden tan with a subtle shimmer. When I’m creating a flawless complexion on Kim, I feel she looks stunning with a little natural gleam to the skin. For the eyes I wanted to create a daytime glam. Which involved a subtle golden smokey eye, glowing complexion, and a sheer red lip. I first blended a golden bronze eyeshadow onto the entire eyelid using a matte bone color in the arch of the brow. I then lined her entire eye with a chocolate brown eyeliner, curled and coated her lashes and added a few individual eyelashes to just the ends of her eyes for an old Hollywood flare. I topped the look off with defining her lips with a neutral lip color and filled in her entire lip with a sheer Cherry red lip gloss. This look is sexy, Its fresh, Its glamorous, and perfect for the alluring Kim Kardashian.”

Hey guys… For the Maxim Hot 100 event, Kim wore an all while dress and the hair was pulled back so I definitely wanted to use a little bit of color on her eyes and green is my favorite color. I really like how this look came out on her and it photographed beautifully. When using a color on the eyes, keep the cheeks and lips soft and pretty. Here’s how to get the face…

Skin – Mat Velvet + Matifying Foundation by Make Up For Ever in Neutral Beige. GIELLA concealer in #2. Set the face and under the eyes with Make Up For Ever HD translucent powder.

Eyes – Golden Olive Pigment by MAC on lids. Humid Eye Shadow by MAC in the crease and blended on the lower lashline. Electric Edge Liquid Eyeliner Marker Pen by Calvin Klein in Electric Black on the upper lid and winged out a little on the outer corner. GIELLA Dazzle Eye Pencil on the inner corners (tear ducts) and on the inner rim of the eye. Two coats of L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black, top and bottom lashes.

Pretty In Purple: Get Kim Kardashian’s Mermaid Makeup

kim+kardashian+mermaid+makeup Pretty In Purple: Get Kim Kardashians Mermaid Makeup On his blog, Mario Dedivanovic shares how he created Kim Kardashian’s mermaid makeup:

I used Giorgio Armani Silk Luminous Foundation to get a more glowy look. I mixed a couple of the colors to get the exact match. It’s set lightly with Laura Mercier translucent powder.

The brows are filled in with Cork by MAC. On the lids I used Stars N’ Rockets by MAC. In the crease, outer corners and under the eye, I used Deep Truth – also by MAC. Right below the Deep Truth shadow, I blended Creme de Violet shadow (a lighter shimmery purple, MAC) all the way down to the cheek bones. I also swept a bit of it on the brow bone. The liner on the top is a very pigmented black liquid that I blended myself from Giella Cosmetics. In the inner rim of the eye, I used the black Powerpoint pencil from MAC and ALOT of mascara – Bad Gal mascara by Benefit. For this shoot, my assistant and I cut up a bunch of different lashes and I placed them in pieces all over the lash line so I wouldn’t be able to tell you the brand or style type.

For blush, I used Angelika by NARS and the Bronzing Powder by LORAC (framing the whole face and on the hollows of the cheeks). To get that glow all over the skin and on the bridge of the nose, I blended my own color with different pigments and shimmers but you can get a very similar effect by using Shroom shadow by MAC, or if your skin is darker, try Trace Gold blush by MAC.

For Kim’s lips, I used a little bit of the foundation on them, followed by a clear gloss. So easy.

kim+kardashian+mario+dedivanovic Mario Dedivanovic, Kim Kardashians Makeup Artist, Just Started A Blog!Happy Saturday, sexy mamacitas!

It’s no secret that I hold a torch for Kim Kardashian’s makeup. So it was a total treat to learn that Mario Dedivanovic, Kim’s talented MUA, just started a blog today. That’s right…today. I’m quick. When it comes to Kim-related news, I don’t mess around.

For his first post, Mario shared the recipe for one of his favorite looks he ever created for Kim. To cop Kim’s look…

Eyes: DuWop Duet Eye Shadow in Chai (the lighter shade) all over the lid and on the brow bone. MAC Eyeshadow in Brun in the crease. MAC Eyeliner in Feline on top lid. GIELLA b-dazzle Shadow on inner corners of eyes. MAC Eye Kohl in Fascinating on the inner rim of the eye. MAC Brun Eye Shadow swept softly under the eye. TONS of mascara on top and bottom lashes. I filled in the brows with MAC Eye Brows in Lingering.

Cheeks: NARS Blush in Desire on the apples of cheeks. Smashbox Bronze Lights Bronzer in Suntan Matte on the hollow’s of the cheeks and framing the face, softly. For the glow on the cheekbones, Stila Illuminating Finishing Powder in Gold.

Lips: MAC creme D’nude Lipstick. Make Up For Ever Lip Liner Pencil in #50 (Warm Nude). You can use a gloss for this look, but I didn’t because the lipstick is very creamy.

Kim Kardashian Addresses Bruce Jenner’s Plastic Surgery

kardashian+family Kim Kardashian Addresses Bruce Jenners Plastic Surgery

A few weeks ago, Kim hinted that a member of her family would be going under the proverbial knife on a future eppy of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Today, on her blog, Kim finally reveals who took a trip to the plastic surgeon and why…

Ever since I revealed in recent interviews that one of my family members would be going under the plastic surgeon’s knife on the show, I’ve been inundated with emails and calls asking who it is!! I can reveal that it was my stepdad Bruce!

bruce+jenner+before+and+after+plastic+surgery Kim Kardashian Addresses Bruce Jenners Plastic SurgeryTwenty five years ago, Bruce was ill-advised by a doctor to have a partial facelift and a nose job. Unfortunately, the result wasn’t what Bruce had hoped for and for years since then he has been the victim of cruel taunts from the media. Since he’s turning 60 in October, Bruce felt it was time to correct the mistakes made by the previous doctor so he went to a new doctor for a second facelift. The results are amazing! Bruce looks better than ever and he is extremely happy with the result. Make sure you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians next Sunday to see what Bruce went through for his new look!

kim+kardashian+lighter+hair+1 Kim Kardashians New "Blonde" Hair

Today, Kim Kardashian unveiled a new hair color via Twitter. Though Kim referred to her new shade as “blonde,” it’s obvious from the Twitpics that her hair is actually a caramel-y light brown.

I love me some Kim, but I can’t get behind this hair. Her dark mane was so glossy and lush. If genetics had blessed me with that hair, I’d never do a damn thing to it. I’d just shake what my momma gave me.

What do you think about Kim’s new do?

The Product That Saved Kim Kardashian’s Sunburned Skin

kim+kardashian+sunburn The Product That Saved Kim Kardashians Sunburned Skin

On a recent trip to Mexico, Kim Kardashian accidentally fell asleep in the sun…and awoke to what appears to be a pretty serious case of sunburn.

Today on her blog, Kim dishes about the miracle product that healed her hide:

kiehls+anti oxidant+skin+preserver The Product That Saved Kim Kardashians Sunburned SkinThis face cream saved my life! It’s called Anti-Oxidant Skin Preserver and it’s by Kiehl’s. It is the only thing that calmed down my sunburn and healed my skin!

I am so thankful for this product. It’s very heavy and greasy but that’s exactly what dry skin needs. It’s thick like Vaseline, but its so nourishing for the skin. Having this sunburn was the biggest wake up call for me. I realized how damaging sun is and how important it is to take care of your skin. I’m going to use this moisturizer every night! I’m also on the search for the perfect facial sunblock, so I will keep u posted!

Check Out Kim Kardashian’s Cleopatra-esque Eyeliner!

Kim+Kardashian+Eyeliner+Makeup Check Out Kim Kardashians Cleopatra esque Eyeliner!

Today, Kim Kardashian posted photos to her blog of the fantabulous makeup job her MUA Mario Dedivanovic created for her Radar Online interview. Kim writes:

I love the black liquid liner, and the gold MAC shadow he uses called Goldmine.

I would never have the patience to do what he does. He starts with a black pencil liner, by MAC called Smolder, then sets it with a translucent powder. He puts an eye shadow brush in the powder and just brushes it over the liner line to make sure it doesn’t run and bleed like some liners do. He then takes a MAC liquid liner and goes on top of it to make a more defined line and wings it out a bit.
