I need another MAC lipgloss like I need a hole in the head.
But after Kim Kardashian dished that MAC Lustreglass in Instant Gold is one of her all-time faves, you know I had to go out and add one more to my collection.
So on Friday, during a spontaneous trip to my local MAC store, I picked up Instant Gold and Cremestick Pearl Liner in Mother Pearl.
So, okay, I don’t want to be a traitor to Stila and all, but I recently discovered a satisfying stand-in for the cult classic Lip Glaze – just in case there is some truth to the bankruptcy rumors.
With a click of the pen, Flirt Cosmetics’ GLAMOURAZZI Extreme Lip Lacquer delivers high-watt shine with a non-sticky formula. And the crème brûlée fragrance is a sweet surprise.
Originally $12, it’s currently on sale for $10.20, which is less than half the price of its prestige counterpart.

It’s no secret that I absolutely adore and envy Kim Kardashian’s makeup. If there was a Face Off type situation, and I had to swap mugs with someone, Kim would be high on my list…primarily because I cannot get enough of the way she wears a nude lip. Aside from Angelina, nobody does it better.
So Troy Jensen‘s recent post about his favorite nude lip colors was a godsend for a Kim copycat like me. In the photo above, Troy used NARS Belle Du Jour Lipstick topped with NARS Giza Lip Gloss.
“The colors blend beautifully with her creamy golden skin tone,” Troy says. “The art of creating the perfect nude is finding one that works with your skin tone and also the shape of your lips. Fuller lips can get away with the palest nude shades while thinner lips will need a bit more color or lip liner for definition. When it comes to a MAC products, my sister and I are drawn to them like moths to a flame. So when we visited the Willow Grove Mall a few days ago with Mama Spoiled Pretty, it was no surprise that we couldn’t escape without a visit to the MAC counter at Bloomingdale’s. What was supposed to be swift stopover ended up being a half-hour spending spree.
While Lauren let the makeup artist paint her eyes in hues of blue, I made a beeline for the lip glosses – swatching at least a dozen on my inner arm. I asked for her opinion of MAC Plushglass in Fulfilled, which I was seriously considering adding to my collection. “It’s sick,” she exclaimed. So I decided to buy it…and so did she.
Though it’s described as ‘full-blush creamy pink,’ I think that cantaloupe-y cream pink would be more accurate. As you can see in the photo, it wears super sheer – and inflates the lips without the burning sting that accompanies many lip plumpers.
I love this formula and adore this shade. And while my lip gloss collection is incalculable, I definitely feel like a void has been filled by Fulfilled. It will be my go-to non-shimmery gloss when I’m playing up my eyes, but I still want a come-hither kisser.
