A few weeks ago Bite Beauty sent over two of their new Lush Lip Tints for me to try. They have a bunch of colors that look cute – I got cherry and black currant and I really like both. They are lightly scented, and go on really smooth. They’re hydrating but not super slick or sticky like some glosses can be. The formula also has some staying power, which was nice. And the shades are flattering and not too bright. CONTINUE READING
Over the past decade, I’ve amassed a ridiculous lipstick collection. Considering you’re supposed to toss lipstick after two years, I recently embarked upon the task of purging the tubes that are seriously past their shelf life. And although it pained me to part with my babies, there was an upside to my spring cleaning.
I had 24 empty or unloved tubes of MAC lipstick, so I returned them to my favorite local MAC (shout out to the counter at the Willow Grove Mall) as part of the Back to MAC Program. Meet my new lip gloss obsession: L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Le Gloss. Apply lightly for a sheer wash and with a heavier hand for a more pigmented pucker. My favorite shades are Raspberry Splash and Plum Rush (which looks almost black in the tube but is the most gorgeous berry on your lips). The non-sticky formula conditions and hydrates with Omega 3, Vitamin E, and Argan Oil. Oh, and it smells like caramel. Get familiar.
