Multi-media, counter-culture, the ultimate cool. In The Studio is the epitome of the look updated, featuring new Studio Fix Lash in Black Fix or Studio Brown, with the latest thermoplastic synth-rubber moulded brush, designed to kill clump as it separates lashes. The perfect complement? Studio Fix Powder, a powder and foundation-in-one, combining complete coverage with ease of application, goes on dry with a matte, velvety texture. Silica keeps the matte flat and absorbs oil, and talc smoothes it out. Go for the bold stroke, as they do In The Studio.

This November, Bobbi Brown introduces her new Extreme Party Mascara – the first ever all-day layer-able mascara!
“For women who want the dramatic look of false lashes without the hassle.” – Bobbi Brown
Why is it different? Thanks to Bobbi’s new “re-activation” formula, each new coat of Extreme Party Mascara remains as clean and buildable as the first – whether you choose to go bolder right away or ten hours later.
* Between fresh coats, lashes stay separated and soft.
* Lashes continue to get thicker and bolder without clumping or flaking every time you want to layer on more volume and length.
* Tapered, two-fiber brush grabs even small, hard-to-reach lashes.
* Dries fast to a smudge-proof, flake-proof finish.
* Enriched with Vitamins A, C and E.
* Ophthalmologist and dermatologist-tested. Safe for contact wearers.
* Removes easily with eye makeup remover or face soap and water.
Extreme Party Mascara is available in black from bobbibrown.com and Bobbi Brown counters now.
COVERGIRL’s new LashBlast Length Mascara creates expertly defined, beautifully separated lashes.
The long brush provides more control, plus special product reservoirs at the top of each bristle grasp even the tiniest lashes to lengthen them by up to 80%.
The clump-free formula contains nylon fibers, the same material used in expensive lash extensions, to extend your lashes without flaking, smudging or smearing.
You have to see it to believe it! Try on COVERGIRL’s new LashBlast Length Mascara in Daily Makeover’s virtual Makeover Studio now.
Yesterday, even though I was just going over my friend’s house to watch football, I decided to rock a sapphire smoky eye.
Here’s the recipe:
MAC Dsquared² Greasepaint Stick in B
MAC Trend F/W ’09 Eye Shadow Compact in Tone: Grey (I used the bottom two shadows)
Hourglass Cosmetics Superficial Mascara in Carbon
* The shadow did crease after about 6 hours, so next time I’ll prime my lids with .
I have been told my many a professional that my eyes were made for makeup. Not to sound cocky or anything, but I’m pretty sure that when God formed me in the womb, s/he said to her/himself, “Wow…when this girl grows up, she’s gonna rock a fierce cat eye.”
So to celebrate my third annual 29th birthday, Mr. Spoiled Pretty and I dined at Tinto, one of my favorite restaurants in Philadelphia – and I sported this ferosh feline eye.
Here’s the recipe to replicate the look:
Apply Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion to entire eye, lashline up to brow bone.
Using MAC 242 Shader Brush, apply Stila Kitten Smudge Pot on the lid – from lashline to crease.
Using MAC 217 Blending Brush, lightly apply Stila Kitten Eye Shadow to the lid – from lashline to brow bone.
Using MAC 266 Small Angle Brush, line the eye with Stila Black Smudge Pot, flicking at the edge.
Prime lashes with Lancome Oscillation Powerbooster. Before it dries, layer Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara on top.
Finally, dip MAC 210 Precise Eye Liner Brush into Stila Kitten Eye Shadow and apply to inner corner of the eye, in a sideways V.
And here’s a bonus – thanks to the products’ staying power, your eye makeup will have nine lives. Meow!
