If you’re in the market for some new boots, I highly suggest you check out Naturalizer. Yes, Naturalizer.
I know that the brand name evokes old lady, orthapedic-looking shoes, but Naturalizer’s shoe and boots styles are anything but. The designs are classic (with a nod to current trends), versatile and super comfy.
My beloved Naturalizer Arness Boots
Last winter, I bought a pair of black riding boots and I’ve worn them at least 3 or 4 times a week through the spring. Now that it’s getting colder, they again have become my go-to footwear for fall. They look chic paired with a dress or skirt, and also with skinny jeans or leggings tucked in.
And for those of you with “athletic” calves or who wear a narrow or wide width shoe, you’re in luck because Naturalizer offers all of these options. Personally, I have wide feet and need a wide shaft boot – and I can tell you that it’s damn near impossible to find a cute boot that fits. But Naturalizer sells several.
I’m so happy with my black riding boots that I’m going to buy a brown pair…and my decision comes at the perfect time because they’re having a sale! Now through November 25, 2012, take 20% off your order at Naturalizer.com using promo code UWINT32A.
The “Juletta” boot (above) has been marked down to a very reasonable $179.99 – but with the coupon, it’s an even better $143.99!
Update: Use coupon code UWINT29A for 20% off all boots, plus an extra 15% and free shipping!
I love cute jewelry. Like the kind that makes other women say, “OMG…that is soooooooo cute! Where did you get that?” Yeah, that kind. But I hate spending a lot of money on jewelry. Which is why I am so obsessed with BaubleBar.
They sell bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings that are unique and luxe looking, but won’t break the bank. BaubleBar even has personalized pieces and does fabulous collaborations with stylemakers like Nina Garcia.
The Urban Decay Friends & Family Sale is happening RIGHT NOW at urbandecay.com and ends on 10/13. Which makes now the perfect time to spoil yourself with all of those items that have been lingering on your wish list. Or take this opportunity to start your holiday shopping early. Here are my product picks:
Eyeshadow Primer Potion
24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils (Deviant, Stash and Zero are personal faves)
All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray

Kendra Scott, one of my favorite jewelry designers, is having a major sale right now. Over 200 items are discounted and they’re all so gorge, it’s almost too much to bear.
Last time Kendra Scott had a sale, I picked up these babies:
Kendra Scott Ramsee Ring
Kendra Scott Tela Ring
Sadly, they’re no longer available (you can still purchase the Ramsee Ring and Tela Ring at other online retailers). But do not despair, there are plenty of beautiful baubles to buy. Take these, for example: (more…)
Remember how I was telling you about all of the goodies I was stockpiling in my Ann Taylor virtual cart? Well, I just made quite the purchase (hopefully, Mr. Spoiled Pretty isn’t reading this and he’ll think that new, cute clothes just magically appeared in our closet). I was frugal all summer – and I really do need some new Fall staples – so this was my gift for being good and practicing some retail restraint these past few months.
I scored a HUGE discount on this purchase thanks to Ann Taylor’s Fall Fashion Weekend, which starts today and ends Monday, September 10. Get 30% off EVERYTHING (even sale) by using the promo code FALL30!
bebe Mixed Media Trench Coat, $119 (after sale: $198)
When I received the Anniversary Sale catalog a few weeks back and spied this trench, it was love at first sight. The faux-leather sleeves are FIERCE and I can’t resist an asymmetrical zipper, so if this ends up fitting (sadly, it doesn’t come in Petite sizes), I’m bringing this bad girl home.
DV by Dolce Vita ‘Folly’ Bootie, $66.90 (after sale: $99.95)
Again…another love-at-first-glance situation (it was also in the catalog). Give me a haircalf bootie in an animal print with an exposed zipper and I’m a happy gal. I don’t really need this boot, but I want it. Truly, madly, deeply.
Hue Denim Leggings, $25.90 (after sale: $39)
Come fall and winter, I live in leggings – and Hue makes some of the highest quality, affordable and fashion forward styles. I already own two pairs of these leggings and I love them (my mom and sister own pairs too). What makes them a must-have is how they suck you in and make your legs and butt look firm and toned. It’s like a denim legging pair of Spanx. Speaking of Spanx… (more…)
A few weeks ago, I posted a pic of this Max & Cleo dress I was planning to wear to a wedding and solicited your advice for complementary shoes. The resounding consensus was that I should jazz it up with a pair of colorful kicks. But while I loved many of your shoe recommendations, my wide, flat feet started to hurt just looking at those stilettos. So I decided to use your suggestions as style inspiration and search for similar heels in a less intimidating height. Unfortunately, 99.9% of the cute heels out there are too narrow for my Flintstone feet, not to mention ridiculously sky high. Seriously, how women can stand in these things, let alone stroll? Inquiring minds want to know.
I went to Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, DSW, Lord & Taylor and Bloomingdale’s – and came up with nada. I was this close to switching the dress – all because I couldn’t find appropriate shoes – until I happened upon the Sofft Ramona II Pump. (more…)
