Clarisonic Aria

There’s a new addition to the Clarisonic family. It’s called the Aria and, in addition to a sleek new design, it boasts some fabulous features:

It’s Customizable: The new brush offers 3 speeds in a user-friendly handle. This is great for selecting just the right amount of cleaning for your skin.

It’s Travel Friendly: The Aria’s USB-enabled pLink charger plugs into your computer (GENIUS!) so it’s perfect no matter where you travel.

It’s Convenient: The new drying stand can be used the in shower or as a charging station when partnered with the pLink.

It’s Informative:  You’ll always know how many used you have left with the color changing battery life indicator.

It’s Adjustable: The T-Timer can be adjusted for a 1 or 2 minute guided cleanse.

A Rosa Arctica by Any Other Name…

In the winter of 2011, I was introduced to Kiehl’s Rosa Arctica Youth Regenerating Cream – and whatever moisturizer I was using at the time went by the wayside. I honestly don’t remember which moisturizer came before (and who cares, really) but I do remember that it couldn’t compete with the Rosa Arctica results. After using it for not that long, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin. During the colder months, my skin is Sahara dry and there are only a few moisturizers on the market hydrating enough to quench its thirst; Rosa Arctic is one of them. But it gets better; the thick cream also smoothes, reduces lines and wrinkles, improves firmness and gives it a youthful glow.

Rosa Arctica Youth Regenerating Cream is so fabulous that it pains me when I retire it for the spring and summer months, when my face turns into an oil slick of BP proportions. As it turns out, I wasn’t the only one wishing for a lighter version of this must-have moisturizer. In response to customer demand for a lightweight texture, Kiehl’s just launched Rosa Arctica Lightweight Cream.

Kiehl’s, knowing how much I adore the original, sent me a sneak peek of the new formulation and I have been using it faithfully for a few weeks. I love it as much as the original and I’m so thrilled that I can now use Rosa Arctica year-round. (more…)

Best Beauty Buys

I love beauty. But what I love more is introducing women to beauty products that they never knew existed but will change their lives. That’s why I started Spoiled Pretty, after all.

I’ve been blogging since 2007 and have posted 2,900+ product reviews and articles. I’ve dropped a lot of knowledge over the past five years and I encourage you to search the site and get better acquainted. But for those who are short on time or need to quickly get down to the nitty gritty, I’ve added an exciting feature to Spoiled Pretty.

Best Beauty Buys is a new option on the navigation bar (top left). Browse my favorite products in seven categories: Baby, Bath and Body, Fragrance, Hair, Makeup, Skin Care and Tools. And be sure to bookmark or check back often, as I’ll be frequently updating with fabulous finds.

Did any of your personal faves make my list? Any best beauty buys you’re dying to try? Tell me in the comments!

Vaseline Total Moisture Lotion Giveaway!!!

My husband affectionately calls me “Daneen the Clutter Queen.” He’s right: Parting with products absolutely pains me. I keep products I haven’t used for years and will never wear again, and I’m not alone. Do you know that 34% of women admit to having more than 20 products stored in their medicine cabinet, and 27% of women admit to having a product in their medicine cabinet that has been there for more than 3 years?

But, there comes a time in every beauty addict’s life when every bathroom shelf is stocked, every drawer is overflowing, and there’s no room for the new things you’ll inevitably buy. That’s when a cosmetics connoisseur needs to get creative.

I recently discovered a product that will free up space, save you money and get your spouse/partner off your case.  (more…)
