Beauty.com has collaborated with New York fashion designer Lela Rose* to offer customers a limited edition beauty valise filled with prestige beauty products. The exclusive Lela Rose Travel Bag comes just in time for the busy vacation season and is available to customers with a purchase of $100 or more on Beauty.com.

The travel bag is perfect for toting beauty essentials, with useful built-in features such as brush holders and zippered plastic compartments for more delicate items.

You all know that by night (and weekend), I am a beauty blogger extraordinaire. But did you know that, by day, I work for the American Cancer Society? Well, since May is National Skin Cancer Awareness Month, allow me to drop some knowledge on you.
There are more than 1 million skin cancers diagnosed each year in the United States. That’s more than cancers of the prostate, breast, lung, colon, uterus, ovaries and pancreas combined! Warmer weather is finally here and many activities move outside, so be sun smart and to follow some easy tips to reduce your risk of skin cancer.
* Limit Direct Sun Exposure during Midday (10 am and 4pm)
* Cover Up* Wear a Hat
* Wear Sunglasses That Block UV Rays
* Avoid Tanning Beds and Sunlamps
* Use a Sunscreen with a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of 15 or Higher
My new favorite sun protection product comes courtesy of Palmer’s. Their Cocoa Butter Formula SPF 15 Body Lotion really makes skin care easy to integrate sun care into my beauty routine.
The formula is enriched with cocoa butter and Vitamin E, which helps promote elasticity and suppleness while soothing chapped, parched skin. And with SPF 15, it’s a great everyday way to protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun. Plus, when you smooth it on, it has this delectable chocolate fragrance – which somehow morphs into a fresh, powdery scent once it sinks in. How does Palmer’s do it? I dunno.
Try this lotion for yourself and see if it works its magic on you. At $6.65 for an 8.5 oz. bottle, you have no excuse.
Happy Monday, my pretties!

Bridal Beauty Week has come to an end. There, there…don’t cry. I’m sad too – this was so much fun! I hope that you all enjoyed yourselves.
For the finale, I’m going to share with you my favorite celebrity brides. I tried to keep the list to 10, but it proved much too difficult. Yes, I realize that many of these marriages were short-lived. But you have to admit that these ladies take some pretty pictures. Hopefully, they will help to inspire your big day beauty.
Here they are – in no particular order…
Jackie Kennedy Onassis
Last month, Trae Bodge and Chad Hayduk, Co-Founders of Three Custom Color Specialists, were the makeup maestros for the JLM Couture Spring 2009 Bridal Show (during New York Bridal Fashion Week).
They created a special new lipgloss just for the showcase called, Just Love Me. It’s not yet available on the website, but Three Custom Color Specialists can take phone orders for it. It’s a gorgeous soft fleshy pink with opal and champagne shimmer (see the photo, left).
The bridal pages on their website are a great resource for brides-to-be. They include color charts and step-by-step bridal makeup application techniques. One piece of advice that you won’t find on the website, but Trae wanted to share with Spoiled Pretty readers is this:
“Brides can tend to over do it or under do it. I recommend seeking an expert to collaborate to achieve the best look for your special day.”
Carissa, writer and editor of Hooked On Beauty and professional makeup artist says:
That tattoo you got with your friends when you were 19 isn’t something you necessarily want to showcase in a gown. I use a lot of Dermablend Cover Crème, the gold standard for covering anything from tattoos to birthmarks.
