Deseo Winner Writes Back

Deseo Deseo Winner Writes Back
Paula, one of the Deseo giveaway winners, sent me this glowing review of her prize:

I was one of the winners of the Deseo spray and lotion contest that you had recently. I wanted to email you and rave about how much I love this scent. I must admit, I didn’t know what to expect, being a celebrity fragrance, but this is just wonderful. I am not good with “fragrance notes” but I do know what smells good and good on me – and this definitely shines. I have been layering the scent almost every morning since I recieved it, and have gotten many compliments from co-workers wanting to know what I was wearing – and then being surprised to know it was a Jennifer Lopez scent.

My 74-year-old mother was there when I opened it, so I put it on her, too. It smelled different on her, but still equally pleasant. She was quite taken with it, so now I am keeping a close eye on my bathroom to make sure it doesn’t mysteriously move into hers. simple smile Deseo Winner Writes Back

So, it’s definitely good for different types and admired by many. I want to thank you sincerely for offering this contest and I am so happy to have won and let you know my opinions.

No Joke – Philadelphia Magazine Loves Spoiled Pretty

philly mag14323 No Joke – Philadelphia Magazine Loves Spoiled Pretty
This evening, I returned from a business trip – which is why the posts have been few and far between. Sorry ’bout that.

Anyway…so I just opened an email from my friend Claire, congratulating me on the Spoiled Pretty feature on Philadelphia Magazine’s website. Initially, I thought it was a belated April Fool’s joke. Luckily, my friends don’t share my twisted sense of humor.

I absolutely adore Philly Mag, so I’m over the moon!

Get Even

evenbetter Get Even
One of my biggest skin concerns is hyper-pigmentation. While most people pray for their acne to dry up, I dread it – thanks to the dark marks my pimples inevitably leave in their wake. A blemish that spends a few days on my face can leave a spot that lasts for years.

For what seems like forever, I have been waging war against hyper-pigmentation. My bathroom cabinet is a graveyard of scrubs and creams that wooed me with promises of a clearer complexion. Unfortunately, most of them don’t work…and the ones that do can lighten skin to such an extent that they can lead to hypo-pigmentation – which is especially bad for brown gal like me.

A month ago, I was sick of looking into the mirror and seeing my dark marks staring back at me. So I decided to get even – and I’m so glad that I gave it another try.

has made a marked improvement (pun intended) in the appearance of my skin. Developed specifically to address all skin tones, this lightweight serum gently erases discolorations – and results can be seen in 4 to 6 weeks.

How does it work? Clinique’s Executive Director of Research and Development, Dr. Tom Mammone, says, “Even Better breaks down the appearance of dark clusters caused by hyper-pigmentation into less visible dust. Then exfoliating ingredients whisk away these clusters.”

In addition to acne scarring, Even Better also treats sun damage and age spots – and it prevents the appearance of new dark marks. So use it on your face, neck, chest, hands, or anywhere you’re looking spotty.

My new beloved beauty buy is Prescriptives Good In Bed Skin Restoring Night Moisturizer. All night long, this ingenious treatment nourishes and hydrates skin while subtle tanners work to enhance your natural color – so you wake up with a “morning after” glow!

I’ve been diligently applying this cream every night before I hit the sheets – and it does everything it promises. Plus, the soothing scent helps lull me to sleep.

Bottom line: Good In Bed is a dream come true.
